Emily is a great and underrated vocalist. Nice choice.

it's like they reached into the sky blindfolded and plucked the female version of Chester. she possesses all of his attributes. this couldn't have been a bigger home run of a successor pick

She's absolutely killing it on this live stream. Her vocals are killer and she's got a great scream

I'm honestly still in shock that this is even happening. I'd resigned myself to B-Sides like Lost and Friendly Fire being the last new material we'd hear from LP

Emily is honestly great, she's crushing it on this Livestream. Good choice for a new vocalist, but I'm not too crazy about this new song just yet. Still, crazy that they're back.

The song itself is just alright but Emily sounds great. I am stunned right now that this is even happening

The internet would never be pleased with anything short of Chester literally rising from his fucking grave LMAO

Emily's great, I dig the new song well enough for a return (reminds me of Guilty All the Same from Hunting Party), and LP ARE FUCKING BACK. That's enough for this shameless fanboy

It's different enough to reflect the profoundly tragic loss of Chester, familiar enough to be grounded in the band's legacy stylistically. Literally perfect vocalist selection

Honestly it's gonna be the same thing as Alice in Chains' return, just on a bigger scale--there'll be loyalist fans who will never accept anything without Chester but there'll be more than enough fans who like the new material that they'll be fine

Shamus, that would probably be so much funnier to me if I'd watched a single episode of Two and a Half Men lol

@JayEnder Oh I'm already ready to 4 the album when it drops. Is that too soon of an assessment? Maybe, but I did the same thing for Green Day's return, and that album turned out great

it's the best comparison I can think of...it's the exact same level of pettiness...same people begging for this are actually just a bunch of ungrateful turds
