Remission and Leviathan dont have shit on Call of the Mastodon in terms of heaviness. if any of you havent heard that album do yourself a fucking favor and listen to it. its a lot more chaotic than anything else theyve done.

I agree. I really like the new album. This album is more diverse tho. Really versatile and that makes it really enjoyable. Every song is distinguishable. I love how they grew into this sound solid now on the new album. Sounds goood.

agreed smoker. i think a lot of folks just wrote this one off and never came back to it. i'm definitely a little disappointed by the lack of diversity on the one new compared to this. its still good though
