Air is decent. But Fire has Firebreather, one of my fav Thrice songs. Also love The Messenger and The Arsonist. Backdraft is cool. Whereas with Air, I only love A song for Milly and Broken Lungs. Daedalus is pretty good but I don’t really see what most do in it. And for me, As the Crow Flies and Silver Wings are completely boring and throwaways.
Oh, I forgot to mention! I definitely see what you mean about The Weight/Promises. It is like it’s counterpart. Great stuff.

Yeah, Larkin, I liked Promises a decent amount but after I found that connection, I liked it even more. The Weight has always been one of my top Thrice tracks.
As the Crow Flies is the only Air track I am not super fond of. Water is my favorite of the Alchemy.

Yes Promises and Blinded have really grown on me and become favorites. Cataracts is solid too.
Honestly this album has grown on me more than any other Thrice album and is def one of my favorites. Getting sad that I only have two Thrice albums left, especially since it seems to be the general consensus that Palms is kind of a flop (but at least TBEITBN seems to be fairly highly regarded).
So you like Silver Wings? It’s so slight and inconsequential. A throwaway imo. Yeah Water is my fav as well, with Fire not far behind.

While it's probably my least favourite Thrice album, Palms is still a worthwhile listen tbh, there are some great tracks scattered through it

Silver Wings is gorgeous! I just wish it was longer. I love the vocal melodies.
Promises and Words are my absolute favorites here. Call in in the Air and Listen Through Me are closely behind them.
The two newer ones are still good releases and worth getting but are not of the same quality as the post hiatus albums. They both have some really great standout songs that I would put up there with their other top tracks.

Treading Paper jams. I love the second (third?) verse with the distorted guitars and the toms are just pounding along with Dustin's vocals. I really like the way that song evolves.
