aydross I really like the stretch of Mardraum-Monumension-Below The Lights. They feel more genuine and interesting than those that came after.

I really hope I see that one day FR33L0RD, who knows!

Thanks Trif. I listened to Below The Lights way back, will check it again eventually.

From the new ones I listened to Ritir and In Times. I decently enjoyed them but they never grabbed me. They gave me a bit of an Opeth vibe, and I also have a similar issue with them.

Brutal rating Trif, using that big boi av to devastating effect I see.

I was secretly hoping Trif would set a bulbasaur avatar.

This is just the top of the bulbasaur Pika, you just don't see the rest.

Or an exotic-not-so-exotic Venusaur.

I'm sorry Demon but this album is so hard to get through for me, I'll try again soon because there must be something I don't see.

Viking metal is lame af for the most part, so I can see you not liking this, Trif.

Although this is more blackened prog tbh

I was referencing your av Trif, couldn’t care less about your rating for this (no offence), I don’t hold it such high regard that it would cause much disappointment.

"Viking metal is lame af for the most part, so I can see you not liking this, Trif."

1. viking metal is not a real genre

2. this is nothing like that at all. maybe 90s enslaved but not this. wtf

Vertebrae had bits of it, RIITIIR too. It's more of a lyrical theme, really.

Listening to this atm. The first track is great but that chorus is so, uh, bad.

Like an uninspired Opeth chorus.
