LOL Idk you guys really overblow my infamous opinion changes. Moon was already a 3.5, definitely better than this haha.
I'll be happy if I end up liking this though : ^ )

ALA if you end up loving the last three tracks (especially "Motorcycle") to at least a 4.0 degree then feel free to bash the living hell out of the rest of the album tbh

I'll spin it again and see ( I forget it already tbh )

JWT I feel like this is something of a "you had to be there" album, either you heard it when it was released or within a few years of that, or you come to it early in your music explorations and it becomes a foundational part of your taste.

that's the case for some but the music is just so damn resonating that you don't have to have a precious memory to think this album is special

I won't necessarily disagree with that assessment, although I do think this earns it's merits on it's own, even the music which some of you seem unimpressed by. The album is packed with riffs, Kevin Cadogan was a prodigy of Joe Satriani and this has a lot of memorable riffs, maybe not the most complex but they do jump out and demand to be heard. I personally think Stephan Jenkins is a narcissistic douche, but the lyrics on this are fabulous as well. I also do tend to very much have a love for alt rock, definitely was a cornerstone for my tastes then and now.

I definitely prefer more indie than alt rock, this is also very poppy, so it doesn't appeal to me as much. I'm not much of a "riffs" guy either. Again, it's decent, definitely a different strokes sort of deal though.

You need to become a riffs guy, you're missing out on too much music.
