Hey, at least mine was believable. Damnation is in the top half of their discog any way you look at it. All around great songwriting. It's the only album with no flaws really. Many would say it's their best work.
I love some stuff on Orchid, but it's in the bottom half. Nobody can seriously say it's their best.

Lol both are believable, that's the point of opinions. It's definitely not their best but it laid the foundation for their sound and has some of their best material, albeit the songs are pretty long.
I just find Damnation really boring. Of all their albums I never see myself going back to it (except for the track Weakness which is amazing). It's an average progressive rock album. But hey to each their own.

Damnation is so melllllllllllllow and booooooooooooooring. The only good tracks are Windowpane. And Ending Credits, because that track at least isn't contaminated by Mikael's annoying clean vocals.

Yeah Hessian Peel is the best track here. Porcelain Heart is possibly my 2nd fave. Didn't know I had this at a 3.5.. I just bumped up.
