Plagues isnt a highlight on here for me but there are definitely songs i enjoy less from them. Id never skip it, or anything on here for that matter

I've decided this is MASSIVELY underrated. Everything up to Grim Heart/Black Rose is intense & very good Converge, maybe not Jane Doe good but still... then GH/BR is great especially within the context of the album & Trophy Scars is great as well. The 2nd half isn't as strong overall but I don't think it's particularly lacking either, even some of the clean vocals are decent & it's a nice change.



I think this album mixes things up nicely to keep it fresh but still very much sounds like Converge, definitely prefer this to You Fail Me (which doesn't quite bring the chaos often enough for me).

I like You Fail Me but feel like I'm missing something, doesn't quite have the huge high moments for me but maybe that's not the point? The atmosphere is darker & it feels a little understated/subtle which I don't mind generally but feel like it's not what I necessarily want from Converge.



It's still an enjoyable listen just keep going back to it hoping something further will "emerge"

Well Jane Doe is definitely their best, but after that it really depends on how I'm feeling. AWLWLB, You Fail Me, and Axe To Fall are all stellar, but I feel No Heroes is their weakest post-Jane album.
