That's interesting, I knew that Nurse was a cover from that album and this is about the stages of treatment from addiction, but not that it was a direct response to Fantastic Planet.

A proper follow-up to this would be amazing, I think there's at least a new EP on the horizon. If I had to guess The Doomed would be a new song.

As quoted from Maynard (thanks Wiki): "And in the case of "The Outsider", it's sung from the perspective of a person who doesn't understand at all what their friend is going through, what their loved one is going through, and they think that it's more like a sprained ankle; they can just kind of walk it off."
Interesting. I always saw "the outsider" as the suicidal one, but the way Maynard talks about it here makes me now consider "the outsider" as the one looking into the life of the suicidal person.

Going to see these guys for the first time in November. I'm so hyped. Can't wait to hear the new songs.

I need more deep analysis of lyrics like this in the page.

And that also breaks my belief that is a concept album.
