I thought about making a list about celestial albums, but got lazy. This was #1 though.

That'd be pretty cool to see. What other albums were you thinking of putting in it?

Not in order, and some of these are a stretch or only at certain points. Ethereal might have been a

better word to describe the sound. Dredg is by far the best, this is just the best of what i have

besides that. Kind of why i made the list is to get some more from other people

I think I know what you were getting at. But those are still some excellent choices. Dredg would on my top along with Sigur Ros.

Never checked out The Knife though. Looks like it's time.

it kind of has a darkly ethereal atmosphere, but it's awesome electronic music.

Seeing them live with Circa Survive in a couple of weeks. Should be great.

Probably the most overrated album on Sputnik. Mediocre, generic 2nd rate alternative rock with a pretentious "concept" and an incredibly boring vocalist. The only thing that saves it is some of the guitar work.

Sure it does, Brian Molko has a distinctive voice that he puts alot of emotion into. Everytime I listen to this I just don't feel anything from the lead singer at all. I've listened to this thing about 3-4 times now fully and outside of a few tracks it's mostly completely forgettable stuff.

I think it's a tad overrated. I always liked "Catch Without Arms" and "Leitmotif" more than this. I guess I'm just crazy.

Idk if you'd like this, ties. Maybe start with Catch Without Arms first, then this and then Leitmotif.

Why wouldn't I like this? What I've heard from this is pretty good. I've just listened to the first few songs.

I meant more that you should get acquainted with the band first before jumping into this. It can be a tad lofty at first (though I guess that's what it's supposed to be).

Now that I think about it, you should like this no problem.

At any rate, I don't see any problems starting with any of their albums.

Except for their Conscious EP. That's straight up Nu-Metal
