I've never understood why everyone thinks Doppelganger drops off in the second half. I think the record is killer all the way through and I have it at a 5

when i was really into this band i thought dopp was flawless but now i can see clearly that it is not, and that all of their stuff is pretty inconsistent. some of their song are fuckin jams though.

But did you hear Ghostship Demos prior? I think that's almost the deciding factor if people enjoy it. Of course, there were some killer moments like the 2:00 mark of Chapter III but most of it just ruined the beauty of the demos
