This CD will always be one of my most cherished CDs. First finding it as a lad and trying to decipher the chaos behind it, then revisiting it as an adult has given it a striking new dynamic.

there are a few tracks in the middle (maybe more towards the beginning of the middle) that experiment too much and don't really deliver imo, but this album is great overall.

Really? I think the impeccable flow they achieved considering how much they're experimenting is incredible. The album feels cohesive and complete, despite going all over the place.

EDIT: yeah, i just feel like they're so good when they're heavy and they soften it up and show a
little too much electronic influence on a few songs in the middle. But I used to have this at a 4.5
but lowered it when i stopped listening as much, that was just what i thought on my first re-listen in
forever.
I thought i might 5 this at one point, i definitely think it's at least going back up to 4.5 after a
few more listens.

This album has an empty spot it my memories... Whenever I think of this album I remember it being enjoyable and liking it, but I never remember my feelings of the album while I actually listened to it. I guess I need to give it another spin.
