I've always been completely indifferent about this band going all the way back to high school but I did recently check out Waking the Fallen again after the bassist in my band kept telling me I should do and to give credit where credit's due it is a very good record. I also like The Stage quite a bit tbh. I'll probably hate this looking at the reception but I am also morbidly curious to check it out to see if it really is as bad as people say it is lmao
EDIT: Jesus H Christ the title track is fucking atrocious.

I'm always happy when bands decide to experiment and do something unconventional but this is a truly astonishing level of bad, like not even funny bad or bad in a way that makes me angry, I'm just confused. It's like they completely forgot about the fundamental elements of music when writing this.

I have never been a fan of the band. Enjoyed city of evil a bit back in the day I guess. But absolutely loved LIBAD. I think I’m going to skip hearing this. Don’t want to taint my love for their last release
