@Hawks I mean when you are saying it is shit to albums without saying it in a constructive way, when you are part of the staff, Im gonna be in your fucking case, because that means you are not professional... Yeah the site is mostly just a forum which isnt recognized these days.. Yeah you are not getting paid, but you can still be constructive

At least futures even if their rating is bad for this said something other than shit.. M///EN.. Same for AlexKzillion in here..

Also 124k comment say otherwise. Im the one having a life. Anyway Im done being on your case

Card Declined in particular is becoming a favorite.

in a vacuum i really don't think this is all that bad, i'm just prone to getting a little overly negative on here when a fav artist of mine releases work below a certain threshold (which feels like an idea charli is trying to deconstruct a bit with this album + the moment).

in reality, brat summer was just such a perfect storm of events that charli is prob right she'd never be able to match/surpass it. my issue above all is this album/rollout feels completely resigned to that "fact" in a way that feels almost counter-intuitive to the arch she's been on the last decade.

I think she's fully aware of that, you know? Doing a follow up to Brat was nearly impossible lmao, so the only thing she could logically do is to pivot. Not everyone will enjoy that pivot (nor should they), but I genuinely admire the intent.

i mean... the fame to fame monster... short and sweet to man's best friend... thank u next to positions... i feel like there's plenty of semi-recent examples of pop artists following up their breakout / artistic peak with extremely successful/worthy albums that aren't fixing what's not broken. granted that's never been charli's style.

not even saying brat 2 is what i wanted this to be... but she just feels so overly-consumed by this idea that brat is some insurmountable monolith that can't be replicated when in reality these pop artists are kinda doing it all the time. great for brat's legacy i guess but feel like it severely hampers this album in a way it didn't need to.

yeah alex to me at least this feels like a poorly thought out and planned artistic statement rather than an album of music worthy listening to
