i think it's easily their most accomplished.

my fave will probs always be Wildlife but I can see this eclipsing Somewhere (but probs not cuz TLLC)

I think this is probably their most ambitious. The first half (through Steve) is classic LD, some of my favorite songs they've ever done. Hurts me to say it but I'm losing the patience for the back half. I actually like saturation diver but everything else is too one-note and meandering, especially the last six minutes of top sellers. Still think this clears rooms and panorama though, all in all.

genuinely think Top-Sellers would've been perfect if the first half were longer. I hear the complaints for the end of it but I still find it quite captivating.

just watched First Reformed. not a movie buff by any means so i miss a lotta good ones and yeah that was indeed a good one.



Damn good movie, Ethan Hawke was great. Huge Paul Schrader fan — he certainly has his misfires, but he never makes a boring movie, for damn sure
