When I saw them a few months ago they played like 3-4 songs from Extensions and the rest was a mix of older stuff.

I'm seeing them tonight and Monday - I'm really curious to see how the two setlists compare (opening for Opeth v their own tour)

Saw them tonight, and oddly enough they sounded pretty....not good. I was disappointed. wasn't loud enough at all. Jonas killed it though.

Opeth absolutely wrecked.

Yeah I should be clear, this wasn't a band issue, it was a mix issue. Just sounded ass. They were spot on but it was a weird setlist and a weird setup with chairs where there wouldn't normally be. It just sucked all the energy out of the room.

I'd absolutely want to see them again, especially as a headliner.

I saw them with Opeth and they honestly sounded amazing live but this was back in the DEK days. I'm sure they'd still sound great but their material since then has been on a pretty steady decline unfortunately.

I think they've maintained a constistently high level of quality since The Great Cold Distance, but I don't see these songs working for me in the live setting. Katatonia is my band to listen to in quiet, peace and solitude.
