I also am of the belief that better production doesn’t necessarily benefit a project like this. The more lofi sounds craft a more captivating atmosphere for me and one of the reasons why everything post-Microcosmos has not been on the same level.

I wanted to give it a 3.5 but it definitely gets better in the latter half. A bit contemplative and predictable, but the melodies are peak and it really gets you engrossed
