Returned to this after playing it 24/7 during the month that elapsed its release date, and it rips just like the first spin.

The previous album has slightly better arrangements and flow, but the new one dwarfs its predecessor in terms of sound production.

"slightly better arrangements" is putting it lightly as I feel the riffs & melodies are much more memorable on Uinuous, but to each their own of course!

I wrote "slightly better" because Havukruunu managed to rise above in terms of making an addictive album immediately after Uinuos Syƶmein Sota, a near-classic.
Hardly a trivial achievement.

It is indeed. After listening through Rotting Christ I feel like this clicks for me more, the epic singing etc etc

This is definitely their most triumphant sounding album. I do prefer the three that came before it, but this band doesn't miss tbh.
