I feel like Jesse is best suited for other projects now like Seemless, whereas his return to this band kind of forced them to lose their whimsical songwriting abilities for some unbeknown reason and they're just trying to recapture that ST/aojb feeling to everything they do now

All you have to do is put on the song the signal fire to see who the superior vocalist is for KSE. When Howard’s part hits it’s like “ok this is what KSE is supposed to sound like!”

heartache has its cheese so I don’t think it’s a classic, it def rules but yea Daylight was an overall improvement



Also I feel like they’ve been rehashing Disarm, that record sounded great and it didn’t really give me vibes of past albums and I’m saying that as a fan since ‘03
