Been listening to this at the gym. Fun stuff. It kinda gets repetitive halfway through which is weird because theres actually a lot of the variety to the songs.

def a good album but can't help but think it kinda blows its load with those opening three tracks
i came into this only familiar with her knocked loose feature and those tracks gave me exactly what i wanted right off the bat lmao

also is the chorus of "negative spaces" supposed to be an interpolation of something??? sounds insanely familiar. i even wanna say those woahs in the chorus are sampled from something

Just learned that Stephen Harrison (ex The Chariot, House of Protection) co wrote this / played guitar. His journey is something else and I love it

That is cool but honestly I would’ve expected more creative guitar parts then. This has grown on me for sure but I still can’t shake that a lot of the guitar leads here are pretty bland. It’s everything else being so good that makes up for it imo

It certainly sounds wildly familiar, like something that would have been a mid-00s radio hit by some 20 year old rock band, but doesn't sound at all reminiscent of na na na na to me.

I mean ya I knew he was but it feels like the only song that has his influence is centers falling out lol

It's kind of a bummer that the drums are so overproduced, cause the first half of this record is among her best. I can't get over that sterile snare though.
