You’ll be underwhelmed no matter which way you’re looking at it. If you’re listening with the intent of ripping it apart afterwards, there’s not enough that’s truly terrible for that.

it did actually fall below my expectations, but at least they were tempered by the follow-up singles just not having the sauce that The Emptiness Machine had other than Two Faced really
i feel like shit not being able to pick a deep cut to be my main takeaway mostly. i really do. Good Things Go is close, but still below The Emptiness Machine. why am I such a poser, why am I such a fake fan, i should be able to name more deep cuts.

I really went into this with an open mind despite not really loving any of the singles. I wanted this to be a good comeback but like I said it’s only gotten worse on every listen. I don’t think a fourth listen will change my mind.

It's not exactly some layered work that will unravel on subsequent listens, what you hear is what you get and what you get is uninspired slop

I really don't even give a shit about people wanting to listen to what they want regardless of how shitty the people making the music is, but the amount of people not batting an eye/acting like this is not even a thing is fuckin wild and gross.
