I love everyone that loves this. I love this band. But let’s be realistic. A 6 year wait for this feels a bit underwhelming

Yeahhh not quite a 4.5 unfortunately. If I kept it at that it'd be on the same level as Proper Dose and the older albums... but it just isn't.

Still love it tho and Nothing to Say + Keep You Around is a hell of a one two punch and one of the strongest in their whole discog

This is the album they needed to make but it’s not enough. I wanted more singer songwriter oriented songs like Take me as you Please. Those songs off Proper Dose are iconic. I just can’t say this album holds those types of songs.

Letterman and White Shores definitely scratch that Proper Dose itch imo but I agree twilight this album could have benefited from another Upside Down type song.

Yeah I kinda expected/hoped for more tracks like Letterman and White Shores that follow the progression of Proper Dose. Especially since No Pressure is a thing, I thought Parker would have a different outlet for the more standard pop punk tracks. Nothing To Say is just straight up a No Pressure song.

Upside down is such a classic song it makes my head spin. It just goes to show what these guys are capable of. That’s what made proper dose so essential and classy. Although it is cool to see them commit to the punk here. I’m so back and forth on this album but will keep listening.

Pleasantly surprised by this. The last one didn't do much for me thematically, but I could see myself spinning this one on a regular basis — just wish it were just a tad longer.

Weird to me how some of you feel like the mix is weird. Heard it first on headphones, which is peak, but it's great on my speakers as well. And I'm usually very critical of mixes - can't listen to the Northlane EP for that reason alone. Might be some of their best songs, but the mix is dogshit.

It's decent, but the lyricism didn't quite hit like Proper Dose. A lot of the album is a bit of blur/samey.
