these guys brought the house down last night. feels like they're really peaking
daoboys were also much improved from the two times i saw them last year. not that they were ever bad live to begin with but you can tell they're a lot more dialed in these days. no tech issues or sound problems this time around and i'd say carson's live vox have improved a lot too.
also... omerta threw me tf off. there was a surprising amount of women at this show and they were going batshit for these guys. idk if i really like their music but they put on a really fun set nonetheless

I was at the show on Wednesday too, Alex. I thought every band killed it and was the most surprised by Stateside. They were like a mix of every Drive-Thru Records band I loved back in the day. I chatted with the singer for a bit after the show and he said those bands were their biggest influences so it makes sense.
I don't fuck with the dudes in Omerta too hard but I'd be lying if I didn't lose my shit when they played their cover of Dogs Can Grow Beards All Over.

Omerta was cringey as hell when I saw them a couple years ago but not too bad the other night, but it's probably because they weren't the opener so they weren't pissed a half empty venue was just standing there staring at them. Lol.
Agree with covering old TDWP being elite. Hearing that *ding ding* in the last breakdown had me feeling ready to run through a wall. The Daoboys did break out a little bit of Emmure at the end of their last song too.
