I don't see my rating dropping on this. I understand a lot of the complaints but music sounding "dated" or "derivative" has never bothered me as long as it sounds like the band is actually passionate in how they're executing a sound, which these guys absolutely do. This knows exactly what itch it's trying to scratch and nails it imo. This vocal performance is also one of my favorites in quite awhile. I honestly wasn't a big fan of Matt prior to this release, but he sounds like he's screaming from his fucking soul here and it hiiiiits.
