"album is better than this year's dying fetus"

I absolutely adore Dying Fetus with all of my heart, but I agree.

I would have to look at my never ending list of incredible death metal albums this year to say this definitively, but off the top of my head this is my favorite dm of the year.

Can't wait to see these guys tomorrow m////

>really did not expect this to be good between the hyper generic tech death art

if you compare it to their last few cover arts it's actually obvious that this one is gonna be good

All Dying Fetus rules, you are all lame

But I am seeing these guys tomorrow and I'm changing from my suit in penn station plaza to all of my metal gear then heading to brooklyn lmfao

I asked my boss tonight if that was okay if I changed there and he was like "Sure! What concert are you seeing?"

Me: "Uhhhh Suffocation"

My boss: "Uhhh you lost me"

Might start a pit in one of my morning meetings to hype myself up

the overall sound is great.....the problem that i'm having with this is that i can't identify more than half of these songs and I listened to it 10-15 times

Most extreme metal, apart from orthodox thrash and death metal, doesn't have conventional structures (verse, chorus, verse). The music isn't necessarily made to stick in your head, it's made to be enjoyed every time you listen to it.

'The music isn't necessarily made to stick in your head, it's made to be enjoyed every time you listen to it.'

I understand your point here bro but can't say that I agree with you as there are so many death metal and extreme metal albums that have (had) the ability to stick. There's a handful this year alone that have been able to do it.

There's always the element of this one needing even more time as well...

As far as I'm concerned, I hear less and less music where I can quickly remember the chorus or that catchy riff... I get bored quickly
