Some wild turns in this interview.
Also...After the Party turns 10 next year. I remember listening to it right after it came out. Crazy.

As a big Menzos fan...new album is not as good as Hello Exile (or their classics) but a step up from this imo

Yup 100%

Completely agree with that as well. I think Hello Exile is underrated, really.
I do really enjoy Everything I Ever Saw, though.

Hello Exile is where everything started feeling like autopilot.

On the new album, after not getting much from the first three tracks, I was actually enjoying Other People's Money a decent amount, and then we get those fucking lazy ass "whoas" that they've been overusing since Hello Exile.

Oh god I hate the “whoaa-ahh-ohh” shit so much. Every time I hear it I am shocked that a mature adult man would write and perform that. What is this the fucking Disney channel?

"bUt it's cAtChy"
I don't mind a little bit of it, especially if it's integrated with lyrics in an interesting way. But the Menzingers seem to use it as crowd singalong filler. Anyways, the new album is not good. 3rd dud in a row, this band is never coming back.
