HV's artwork is good too. That and SWB are the best in that regard.

Man I watched a kookaburra bash a mouse to death on a rock in the backyard last night while I was eating dinner. Them shits are vicious.

Anyway swinging back round to say I wish everything across this era was as good as Crumble and Smoke Detector!!

Good! Tracks like Frozen Oranges and Nowhere Special are probably the most out there. The rest feel like they draw from templates he’s already done, but there are few real clunkers (mainly just Junk). Bonnet of Pins is a solid rocker, Little by Little and Silver Jeep follow the same basic blueprint of Crumble but are still enjoyable, Breaking Into Acting feels like a more refined version of Your Mind Is Not Your Friend. Lyrically it’s the standard 60/40 split between golden lyrical nuggets and latter day Berninger fumbles; maybe a couple more memorable lines than the last few Natty records.

'I remember being obsessed with Smoke Detector for a day and then never really liking it again'

I don't feel quite a strongly that way....but there's some truth in that.
