It lacks the big powerful emotive parts that drew me so much to The Death of Me

tbh both this and The Death of Me feel pared back compared to the first album but there's some gems here that put it above that

First album best metalcore stuff, second album best post-hardcore/emotional stuff, this is just there, not doing anything particularly good

shoutout them finally making a good album

death of me is almost there but is 40% straight radio rock garbage, and mortal coil is like modern currents levels of bland

I’ve actually always felt this band and Currents are pretty bland across the board. Currents just gives a little more heavy and better vocals

can definitely see why you'd find this band bland, The Death of Me just clicked with me, despite the odds of it being really generic sounding and lyrics cliche as anything

Agree. It’s weird for both bands I seem to have the opposite opinion of the masses

I never see this band mentioned ANYWHERE it’s wild. I’ll completely forget about them sometimes.

Saw them live with Thornhill, Silent Planet and Paledusk last week in Madrid and not only do these guys put on an absolutely amazing show, they seem to be absolute gents. Just incredibly positive, loving vibes all around. There's a bunch of songs that just go off like total anthems, live, and the rendition of "Martyr (Waves)" even brough a sneaky tear to my eye, which is really rare with anyone.

They are consistently selling out this European tour and yeah, maybe they are not totally genius at any particular thing, but they are really good at a lot of things. I was a fan before, but became an even bigger one now. They totally deserve it.
