There was forgery on the restraining order filed by the sons, it's been admitted in the courts. The courts granted sole custody to Josh from the proceedings. Hoping it gets resolved for the children.

Great review. I feel like the album is a grower.

Ah, pardon me, Homme was actually the one who brained Blag Dahlia, because he called QOTSA "Queens of the Trust Fund" on their dogshit awful hip-hop song in like 2004
|

@ranger so all three restraining orders filed by his children were actually written by his ex wife and new partner? Lmao Jfc
I guess that settles it, Hommes is merely a big piece of shit, not a colossal piece of shit

After few listens it's still middle of the pack QOTSA, but the songs don't really go anywhere and there are very few standouts (Paper Mache is a jam). Production is much better than Villains, but it carries on and continues many sonic themes and ideas from that record, but without the stand-outs. The band continues to misuse Jon Theodore, sadly.
Yeah the DV / abuse accusations never seemed legit to me considering Homme kicked Nick Oliveri out of the band specifically for beating his gf. It seems hypocritical that he would turn around and do even worse shit years later. Brody Dalle kind of seems like a generally bad person, back in the day she cheated on her then-husband Tim Armstrong from Rancid to get with Homme in the first place iirc

Prod is definitely an upgrade on Villains, but yeah not feeling this otherwise 🤔

Outside of a couple of albums and random songs throughout this discography, this band is extremely overrated. The comparison of being a present day Zeppelin, or carrying the torch if you will, is a terrible take in my opinion. These guys are B leaguers at best and aren’t my favorite brand of rock at all. Can’t believe they receive the praise that they get…

you're right; Rush would have been a far more accurate comparison

I may be a dorky prog fan, but certainly not as dorky as someone whose social life is 100% on this site. That, my friends, is the only fact on this page.
