@hamid you said they did a faithful coconut, did they do any alternate versions of that older songs this time or no?

they were not as wildly different and percussion-heavy as on the plunge tour, but aside from coconut the older tracks still had somewhat new mixes. one that really stood out in a weird way was the jacked-up version of 'now's the only time i know'.

btw, pleasantly surprised at just how much the crowd enjoyed getting 'mustn't hurry', big cheers. 'kandy' also really cemented itself as a new fan favorite, from what i could tell, it's just so good to groove to.

So, to whom it may concern: the band was Carin, two backing vocalists (although they might as well be referred to as "co-vocalists", 'cause they sang through nearly every line as an analogue substitute to layered vocal playbacks which was boss), one keyboard-station player in a glowing mushroom hat and one percussion player. And one lamp post which was communicating with the audience by its own accord. 'twas my first time seeing Fever Ray live so I really have no frame of reference but I have to say that Carin's get up, looking like "Serious Moonlight Tour"-era Bowie after being buried in the ground for a week, and the band's synchronized stagecraft was a showcase of professionalism to be sure. The light show was elegantly simple yet of that specific sort of simple which implies great care and talent behind it - some moments definitely felt like going to a rave. Also, shortest encore I've ever seen - the band plays "If I Had A Heart", scutters of for a brief droning pause with the lamp post, creeps back out in black robes, sings "Coconut" and bows out. Overall, 8/10, not enough Kanye rants.

yeah, pretty good sum-up. made me also appreciate the plunge tour, 'cause the energy was so wild during the dancier moments.
