this was fun! really like a lot of this but it is pretty scattershot and hit or miss. tons of great ideas though, love how wacky it is. i actually think they could lean further into the cyber sound. a lot of this sounds like a electroized version of danza with some emmure groove and hip hop influence in there for good measure (didn't know miller was in emmure before listening lol).
i like the more chaotic songs with insane synths, just a fun blend. pretty bloated though and wears out it's welcome a bit but i do keep coming back for individual songs. really love the opening trio of looking glass, hyper kill and dragon chaser. gantz and sand script were sweet too.
curious to see how they have perfected and cleaned up their sound on oni 2 now, hopefully this looks tame in comparison. excited to check it out!

yeah this album is a fuckin trip, and their most noteworthy departure from their typical sound ala ST and Dethmask pt.1. Everything they've done since has continued to evolve and become a modern staple in my taste for deathcore

Probs Oni 2, it has their best overall production and it's arguably their heaviest album, but both have insane moments in their runtimes
