Yeah pretty sure Scott is the only original dude left. Didn't realize the other 2 long time members left just a few years ago. Dude legitimately is able to write some of the best guitar riffs I've ever heard

yee quite lucky to have him maintaining a through-line in their lifetime as a band. No discredit to the new members, it's just good that they still fundamentally sound like Fallujah, and a lot of that is Scott.

Been internet friends with Kyle since before he joined the band and he is indeed a great dude, also the new material has been great, love the direction they've been going w/ the last couple albums.

Also Evan Brewer on bass is a fucking goated choice always, I'm so glad he's back in the scene.

Love a lot of albums he’s played in so definitely a good pickup for the band

New single coming out tomorrow, “Labyrinth of Stone”. Was able to listen to it early on their Patreon and it sounds great.
I’ve honestly loved both of the singles they’ve put out so I’m getting pretty damn hyped for this album.

Both singles are great. New album could be better than Empyrean.

Both singles have been super sick so far. Can't wait for this.
Fallujah has been really consistent imo. Their worst album isn't even that bad, it's just not a banger like their others.

Awful band agreed.

I wasn't thrilled by the two singles I heard yesterday. Maybe I'll have to listen more carefully

I think the latest single is one of the best things this band has ever done honestly

Should be a banger of a new album then!

Just now getting around to listening to this, somehow. I shilled TFP and Dreamless as hard as anybody around here.
It's all good, well-performed and all that. It just seems to lack some of the magic that Dreamless had. Like...every song kinda feels like stock Carstairs-ery that he could kick out anytime he felt like it. I did like Into the Eventide a lot, so maybe I need to give it a few more spins.

FIRST time I've seen someone have the same opinion!! It's missing a spark. Still good, but yeah, and I'd describe the riffs the exact same way, stock.

It just kinda doesnt have the same hook game interwoven between all the extreme levels of shredtasticness that Fallujah always managed to balance really well
It definitely has some of the most pristine sounds they've ever pulled off tho
Also new singles have some absolutely angelic leads even if I'm not digging the clean singing -super- hard.

Dedes bro I've jammed the new singles. Feel the same way (0GuyMan0 comment) about them as this album unfortunately.

@tundra
That's fair. IMO they've been leaving structure further and further behind for something even more dizzying and whimsical which I both dig and not dig. If they can ever strike a chord that balances those two things as well as they once did then it'll probably be a pseudo-masterpiece but either way I def still love it

New songs don't excite, and yeah that video was such a bad idea.
