I jammed Police Truck about 10 times yesterday after listening to the rest of the album straight through. The fact that the cover song was the one I went back for isn't a great sign. I haven't even heard the original.

"I also prefer Dystopia, by a wide margin."
Really? I never listened to it... Guess I'll have to now.

It’s like the law or something that classic metal bands like this can’t be good anymore huh

Pretty sure it's very hard to be as creative as in your 20s when you're in your 60s

"All that being said, using woke like that is pretty cringe".
When did this become a YouTube comment section?

"anthrax are currently releasing the best music of the big 4 rn" They always did for me. Even in their bad 95-00 era their shit was better (less worse) than the shit of the rest imho

The John Bush era is underrated. SOWN and WCFYA are both really solid.

still debating whether or not i should actually take the time to listen to this. don’t think I’ve listened to anything megadave has put out since endgame

For All Kings (last Anthrax) was a bit of a mixed bag, some killer songs with some medicore ones. They're also having Loooooong breaks between each album now. Honestly: Testament or Overkill > Current Big 4 (now Big 3 because Slayer split up).
