Happiness > DBM > DBM2 > Deathstar

But daddy Kurt all day over Jonny, ESPECIALLY in DGD

Royal Coda is where Kurt sounds best. He does not fit DGD. At all. Happiness was kinda funky and groovy. Kurt goes best with kinda chaotic sass-corey type of instruments.

He's got far more expression and personality, he fits the Happiness mold perfectly. And his solo stuff is far from post hardcore, but he rocks that too.

Craig's voice is beautiful, but after DBM1, he lost all sense of control/nuance. Tilian's tone was a trainwreck from the get go.

My favorite Kurt works are ALLB, but I also think he's able to use his voice to fit any given niche.

Yeah, he's got some terrific solo work but my favorite work of his is from allb. Such a damn shame about the band though. And Craig too in a way cuz he's got clear talent in ways tilian can't even replicate his songs which might be why they rarely get played live.

His own worst enemy has always been himself. Even his 'revival' on Slaves was bad, he was so enamored with his own voice that it became obnoxious.

I know he released a solo album pretty recently and you can hear how much he had to layer his voice because its obviously not as strong as it used to be and he's burned so many bridges I don't think he has any future in music anymore. Which might be for the best anyway.

Yeah Craig is a man of multiple second chances, and his closet is full of more skeletons than Tilian's. He's better off gone.

I think numbing agent and even if are easily his best moments.

I could never picked a favorite moment of his but the one where I realized where he was my favorite dgd singer was that angel note in Robot with Human hair on death star

Woke up with that in my head multiple times this past week. Kind of want to bump this up to a 4.5 because I've been spinning this a lot.

This is pretty much Happiness 2 and I couldn't be happier about that.
