Arif's wife Azean also left her management position with the band as well, thus making Hiss Arif's last album with the group. depends on your perspective, it's likely not to be accessible for someone who just wants a good hard pummelling for 30 minutes straight - which I guess is what you're alluding to with the normie grind comment. I've definitely heard harsher grind - this is pretty tame at points and I would imagine could be fairly accessible to people coming from other somewhat adjacent / related genres etc.
