I appreciate how meticulous and honest he is with the language on Auntie Diaries. It does a good job of illustrating his journey with being more accepting and probably (unfortunately) meeting a lot of people with where they are at, rather than a squeaky clean preachy diatribe.

"He'll stay the golden boy because he threw some PC stuff in here so they'll rave about that online."

Yea naahhhh he's already catching shit for Auntie Diaries. Kinda expect him to catch shit for featuring Kodak (who sexually assaulted a girl) on here as well.

@slex I’m not gonna argue about that debacle, I just think it’s ironic

"Kendrick: tricks white girl into singing the n word on stage and then humiliates her in front of millions

Also straight Kendrick: drops the F bomb like 6 times in a row"

Interesting you bring that up considering the final line in Auntie Diaries.

Iirc it was something about how we should all say the f word together? 😂

the final line of auntie diaries very much struck me like he was going for the effect of the final line of blacker the berry but i think he missed the mark a bit, partially because we've heard him do it before

Equating the F word to the N word is kinda dumb, and something he addresses in the song itself. Seems like the reception to it has been mostly positive from the communities it addresses

"F•••••, f•••••, f•••••,' we can say it together

But only if you let a white girl say 'N••••" - Kendrick
