That just reads like every other pop/alt rock band on the market. The only thing you could construe as sus is "burn the truth" but again it's such a generic nondescript lyric

Agreed, it was just the type of lyrics of the time.

"for years they shared backstage spaces, hotels and staying places while touring, where watkins would routinely take underage girls like a revolving door, but sure"
This is literally the definition of unsubstantiated, my guy. You didn't see shit that happened behind the scenes so how are you going to presume to know what did or didn't take place? He probably did shit in the wee small hours of the night, very discretely. Pretty insane to suggest that his band knew he was fucking underage girls and just didn't care about it

oh wow yall are still going huh?

Controversy be damned, I am glad this is back on Spotify. Haven't heard it in over a decade.

This album has great guitar sounds, kind of like Incubus mixed with the post-hardcore bands of the mid 2000's

Sickening. Art beyond the artist? Fuck this band

oh it's back on Spotify? good shit
|
| |
Why is that good?
|
| |
Album Rating: 3.5
It's good because I haven't had a conveniant way to listen to this band for a while
|
| |
Do you understand what the lead singer did??
|
| |
I definitely feel like I dodged a major bullet by not growing up with Lostprophets (hell, I hadn't even heard of them until the arrest)
Then again, I think most of us have an artist/band we feel guilty of enjoying in light of them being horrible people. Vektor is probably one of the main examples for me
|
| |
I would say if we are against anything… it should be lost prophets. Fuck them. Terrible
|
| |
Oh absolutely, and that's why I said I dodged a major bullet. I understand that there are tiers (so to speak) regarding what listeners can forgive or overlook from an artist, but Ian is about as close to the fucking bottom as it gets
|
| |
Oh he is the bottom. Sickening

"Then again, I think most of us have an artist/band we feel guilty of enjoying in light of them being horrible people. Vektor is probably one of the main examples for me"
i honestly cannot bring myself to revisit terminal redux at all after that came out.. i think the one I feel guilty about is Staind, bc I liked the songs from 20 years ago. i just don't stream them so aaron's racist ass doesn't get a penny off me nostalgia tripping It's Been Awhile
