this band idk i just dont like anything about them; their songs, ESPECIALLY their vocalist, the annoyingly dated/flat production, the "pussy"-ish vibe i get from them (idk, just something i get, and i dont usually complain about that sort of stuff)

as far as the "pussy-ish" thing you bring up, morrissey's whole thing was about bringing a sense of vulnerability into the music, almost an effeminate like quality that was anti-maschismo. if anything I just find his passions and insecurities to be relatable, humorous when addressing the things he hated.
and the production, well, i mean early 80s what are you gonna do. i like the tunes.
