Hopefully better in the context of the album. I haven’t checked / usually don’t check but now I’m intrigued.
Did you 4.5 this recently? Good choice.

I might replace a metal with this as a new 4.5, hehe… I was just giving it time after being borderline obsessed for a good while

very based to have a song named Vincent Kompany

I'm hoping it's similar to 'Peter Bogdanovich' lyrically because I would probably die of laughter if so

hmm, not sure the new one is as good - lacks the spark
couple of good tunes at least, Phone Me is pretty catchy

I wasn't particularly into this one but I enjoyed the new one even less - even with a John Grant feature (he's not utilised well either)

I’m loving the new one so far. Some seriously devastating lyrics there.

I’d have died for you, but here's the twist
I was loving something that didn't exist
Just a mirror of a mirror of a man
Who you once saw
I mean Jesus Christ!

Damn yeah the lyrics to Such A Miranda are fucking brutal

Fundamentally her voice is close to nails on chalkboard for me so I don’t go too much deeper with her songs I have to admit, though I’ve never really got snagged by a melody or instrumental either.
For whimsical/witty singers she’s a lot better than Kate Nash though so that’s a big boon.

new one is too heavy on the pop cultures refs and has some irritating melodies, I wish it employed more of the restraint that’s seen on I Hate Who I Am When I’m Hirny cos that’s the best track by a country (heh) mile

Only listened to the new one once but did anyone else feel like it's much less country leaning
