The first track comes very close to losing this half a point just on the "strength" of its awfulness.

Yay for digital music so I can delete it and pretend it never assaulted my ears.

Rest of the album is amazing...

It's also a great mix between full-out pop bops like Too Dead Inside, uncanny valley hellscapes like the opener, and distressing calls for help like Friendly Machine

These are like the littest tracks to play over the numbers station

I don't mind robo voices, either. The ones here bother me for some reason.

I mean, an assault on the ears isn’t always a bad thing (depending on context)

am I the only one that loves perfect blue? the tohji feature is questionable but these lyrics are undeniable /// "I'm sorry I don't feel good/I'm sorry I'm not so keen on food/But don't tell me about my fate/Don't tell me about my weight" got me sooooo hard

*The name Yeule is derived from the Final Fantasy character of the same name (spelled differently)*

Keith Moon once passed out live on stage having knocked back a load of tranquilizers with a bottle of brandy.

Someone from the crowd replaced him on the drum kit for a bit. It was during the Quadrophenia tour. It’s a great album. I recommend it.

I found it inconsistent. I enjoyed all the 'hits', Eyes, Don't be so hard..., Too Dead Inside, Bites on my neck, but found the more experimental/ambient stuff a little meh. High ceiling but low floor.
