seems like new one is more of a hit for some and miss for others, depending on the style of revival black you like

I dig the new one. While not as immediately catchy as this one, it's definitely a solid album. I honestly don't think it's that big of a departure from this record, but overall is a bit more varied throughout. The only step backwards in my opinion is with the album art, but how can you compete with the cover of this one. One of the best from the past decade for sure

I keep returning to this one, opener had me walking through many a snowstorm

hmmm don't get the hype here. bit too clean for me and the synths are pretty cheesy in a bad way. melodies just didn't hook me, very polished. weird clean vocals too. one ear out the other for me, it's ok.
