Hmm idk if I can agree with that Sunny, “I Don’t Wanna Wait” is my fave here and that’s possibly the most ‘80s cheese.

@Boney, might be in the minority here, but stuff like Living Proof, Rings Around My Father's Eyes, and Occasional Rain is just too beautiful and hits me right in the heart. I Don't Wanna Wait has grown on me hard though.

@Colton, I definitely hear a lot of Don Henley with this album (but not really before). Maybe some Dylan too, not a lot of Springsteen although musically some of the songs here aren't too too far from some of the tunes on The River.

This is still a great album to spin after a break, think it’ll stand the test of time for me

I heard they're a superb live band. I presume they'll be touring this record, too.

Listened to this for the first time in months just now while out on a sunset walk and this absolutely floored me. Sometimes my most impactful listens to albums involve them projecting themselves onto my surroundings and perfectly fitting everything around me - exactly what happened with this beaut.

This only has a 3.6 average due to the quality that preceded it. In it's own right this is easily a 4/5 album.

I am a pretty snoozy guy and I had no snoozes during the listening experience

ADU is a near-5 for me since it has 4 pretty much perfect songs, but I admit it occasionally drags and runs a bit too long. This is certainly a tighter listening experience but the peaks aren’t as high.
