is this not just pantera grooves if they were played with seven and eight strings + some tool bullshit lol? Idk it's not grabbing me just yet but I didn't like their last one a whole lot either.

Just went through again and first 4 are p slick, next 2 are decent, and then its unremarkable outside To the Wolves.

first two are basically perfect, track 3 is my personal least favorite but it still works, "Anticure" brought me to tears, the two after are solid as hell, "To the Wolves" has an insane bridge that goes SO hard, "Orphan" is brilliantly written, "Without You/Without Us" is just what the fuck, I love it, and that outro I expected to be fully acoustic and then it just hits with that emotional as fuck full-band part with another gutwrenching solo.

Really not a deathcore fan at all, so its quite unexpected that I'd listen to this album as much as I have

The second best release from Whitechapel. The first is the classic ‘somatic defilement’. Ahhh yes, the high school days..

This would be way cooler if it was that.

if this was Pantera grooves it'd suck, Pantera is the epitome of toxic masculine tough guy bs and the only members with any talent are dead (except for Rex)

Toxic masculinity tough guy bs be going hard sometimes and I'd honestly rather listen to Pantera do toxic masculinity metal than listen to this

good for you, i prefer to feel things with my music and this album's a total feels trip, especially the clean sections. pantera's best asset was shot by Nathan Gale 17 years ago.
