his lackadaisical delivery reminds me of mac miller in spots, for sure, something about the inherently somber and scruffy tone of travis’s voice just jibes better with that sort of cadence though imo.
can’t believe this is the same guy who was shouting “i be fuckin with these hoes but i neva eva pay em” not even ten years ago 😂
(for the record i like that album, too, it was more a comment on the sheer breadth of his catalog)

The only overlap I perceived was with Circles, which is also the only Mac I know. Both that one and this have more singing than rapping (in this case, none at all) and employ various psychedelic influences. Hip hop is quite possibly the genre I know the least about though, so who knows.
