This is a serious step up for the band. They have finally found a suitable sound that is both fresh, heavy and interesting whilst retaining all the elements that made them good but not great.

If you get into the lyrics, Bryan Garris does a pretty solid job depicting feelings of grief, guilt, and trauma but then makes track 5 about the dude having sex with his dead girlfriend's corpse. like...c'mon dude, way to cheapen the narrative of a tragic story lol. It's all still really good regardless.

Not usually my cup of tea, but this EP is quick and tight. Actually searched out Knocked Loose for the first time looking for something to listen to.
