Yeaaah, my year-end list is gonna be such an unfathomable mess of metal and folk that even thinking about trying to order it all makes me sick to my stomach.

Wonderful review by the way!

It’s the hooks. Someone told Heafy circa Shogun where he should sing the song titles within the song and he’s been forcing them into the choruses ever since. Nail meets hammer, because they’re really getting driven in this time around.

I need a folk rec if you have one spare.

Surprised it’s survived the 4 average thus far. It’s holding onto that .1 too.

Yeah, that rating is unusually high for a Trivium album. I'll definitely check it out this week

Interesting to see what would happen to the median if we culled some of those day old accounts and the clear troll/rate manipulation scores….idk

I'll have to out of Sputobligation...

Pretty sure I've never heard more than a few tracks from these guys and they were unremarkable (from what I can remember) but curiosity has suddenly taken hold of me.

They released possibly some of this albums worst moments via the singles (which weren’t offensively bad) and snuck some huge quality on release day.

"it's nothing revolutionary, just really fucking well-done" [3] Bumping it a little, it deserves it.

@parks, the blatant ones get called out and dealt with but it would be a pretty thankless task to go hunting through the database looking for all of them.

Edit: I mean I’d give it a go, but I wouldn’t guess how long it would take me to simply give in to the deluge.

nah, only troll discog 1s and such

theres a lot of duplicates by accounts who are obviously the same person that are never done away with

i dont think anyone should waste their time hunting for them

i think it would be good to take action when reported if valid tho instead of just shrugging it off

"I need a folk rec if you have one spare."

I mean, 75% of my ratings page is folk recs. ;-)

But at this precise moment it's The Felice Brothers' From Dreams to Dust (strange, talky, humorous folk). I'm just starting to delve into the new Karen Peris which sounds gorgeous, so feel free to accompany me on that journey as well!
