I am glad y'all are coming around. I've campaigned since summer to give this album its due.

It really is uncanny how much better this sounds in Autumn. I haven't really thought about this since then lol.

The title track is a true classic, one of the best new songs in years in my book

Yeah, outside of the debut, all their albums are pretty top-notch

Yes, Milo! I'm definitely onboard with that view. Familiars is my favourite of their work, too.

Samesame you cute lil pigeon you. I wish they'd explore that sound a bit further, but also hey they do what they want and that's cool.

I appreciate that they approach a new sound with each record. The themes differ, too. Familiars uniquely aligned with what I typically like both sonically and thematically but I'll always be there to listen when they share new music.

Special album for me because it was the first one I really got in to and played a lot after bringing the baby home from hospital - so I don't know how good it really is I suppose, I just have that nostalgic glow about it.

Played it a lot on holiday this year, it's nearly as mellow and chilled as a Rhye album - a pastoral version almost at times.

I couldn't see them on this tour because I can't do shit on school nights, but this is a lovely warm weather record.

Ended up one of my most listened to albums of recent years...even if I feel at least a third of it is somewhat disposable
