Go for it! Could definitely use one, particularly since his music unfortunately remains fairly unknown on here

I've been sleeping on writing a William Tyler review for a while now. You'll probably beat me to it, though.
I'm cooking up an Antlers In Velvet review. This album absolutely stunned me. Simply took my breath away.
Hoping to have my own review up tomorrow.

This is very nice on first spin. Nothing revolutionary, and perhaps a bit more vibe-y than it is song-y, but I dig. Def reminds me of MMJ and Futurebirds, and of course Neil Young.

Gonna check some of the William Tyler work, thanks.
I keep going to this album. Definitely my early AOTY.

Not to be a downer though, but @Sowing, psychedelic country rock is not in any way new :-)
Jam some Flying Burrito Bros. Or the Dead. The list goes on...

I’m tempted to see if my local record store is open so I can score a physical copy of this
|

Not my normal bag of tea, but I’m intrigued by this. You have to give credit for the guts it takes to START an album with the 10-minute track....

@Atari, they sell it on their website/bandcamp and I think it's also on Amazon - just in case it doesn't turn up in a local record store (I feel like that'd be all too lucky considering how under-the-radar this band is).
@Boney nah that's fair enough. I've never heard countrydelic as ambitious as this, though.
Re: Modern Country, just jammed it and it's quite stunning. Easy 4/4.5 right off the bat with room to grow. Thanks to whoever/everyone that rec'd that.

Fair enough back at ya, I haven’t heard a ton of psych-country stuff but it’s definitely been a crossover that’s existed as long as psych itself has. This does fuse the two a bit more thoroughly than some does - if anything from my one spin I guess this leans a bit more psych where most of the stuff I’m thinking of leans more country.
If you’re looking for another psych country masterpiece, check Phosphorescent - Muchacho.
And glad you dug William Tyler! His discog is great.

Oh another great album this reminds me of is Israel Nash - Israel Nash’s Rain Plans. Title track on that is a total psych country classic.

wow menawati is alive, impressive
really enjoying this so far now that I'm finally checking. Not as original in its sound as I thought it'd be, but it certainly is quite pleasant
