So checked out dear diary. Uhm their lyrics have always been a bit crappy. Holy shit though this is impressivly bad lyrics wise. What makes it more annoying is the instrumentation for it is the best ive heard from them in ages.kingslayers pretty fun though

The closer should've been something crazy that matched the energy of the whole album. I feel like this ends with a whimper instead of a bang.

I like the closer, lyrical faults aside. Though it does feel like they were building to something at the end, but it just ends instead, and musical blue balls are not fun.

There are definitely some cringey lines on here but I don’t think the lyrics are quite as bad as some of you are making them out to be overall. This is my favorite thing they’ve done since Sempiternal. My main critiques would be some repetitive song structures and riffs and I wish Oli would use his harsh vocals more on a couple of tracks.

Still not really into Kingslayer or 1x1 tho. Babymetal is not even close to my thing, and 1x1 is prob the most filler-esque thing here. Oli on autopilot on that one.
Closer is pretty lame too.
