I think "Winterkälte" was tinnitus inducing but on this one he managed to hit a sweet spot between lofi and blizzard noise.

"Brain aids" pretty harsh though.
I actually thought the production on Winterkalte was great. The ones that bug me the most are Steineiche, Nacht, and Kerker.

I'm usually the one shitting on bm and dm that has terrible production, and everyone tells me I don't know shit about the genre etc. In this case I think the production gives the album its great atmospheric sound

Yeah, the production style absolutely works for this, not against it. I very much doubt the people that are saying they don't like it because of that would suddenly like it if it was cleaner. Pots would still slap a 2 on it and call it a day haha.
