The problem there is that genericore fans loved this album. I see it called their best all the time on other forums and youtube comments and so on.
There's a huge part of the core community that will eat up this kind of half-baked shit and agree when the band says something as absurd as "this is our best work."

I mean the change from Neverbloom to Old Souls was a similar deal. Now it's deja vu for this album from fans of Old Souls.
Personally I'm hanging out for Neverbloom 2, but this album was fun.
